Maureen Allen

Maureen Allen joined the firm in 1992 and has over twenty-five (25) years experience as a real estate paralegal in residential and commercial transactions. She specializes in the preparation of closing disclosures, settlement statements, title insurance policies, closing documentation and coordination of all post closing matters. In her free time, Maureen enjoys time with her husband, family, friends and her three Italian Mastiffs. She also enjoys watching the New England Patriots, antiquing and just enjoying life.

Michele Bedell

Michele joined the firm in October 2001. She has more than 30 years experience as a residential and commercial real estate paralegal. For the past 10 years, she has assisted the firm’s estate planning attorney, Barbara Epstein, in preparing probate, trust and estate documents, all the while working with clients to ensure that their requests are managed and met. She brings a keen attention to detail and multitasking skills to her work. Michele enjoys the company of family and friends, the outdoors, live music and is a Red Sox fan.

Kristen Herrmann

Kristen Herrmann re-joined our firm in March of 2016 after having left back in 2005 to raise her family. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies from Rivier College in 1997. Kristen is our pre-closer in the residential real estate department.  She interacts closely with lenders, buyers, sellers, brokers and attorneys to gather all of the necessary information and documentation required to complete the real estate closing process. Her goal is to ease our clients towards a seamless and satisfying purchase experience. She is married with 2 teenagers – a daughter and son, who keep her very busy outside of the office. She enjoys spending time with her family (including 4 cats) and friends, summers in Maine and New Hampshire as well as vacationing in Aruba and Florida. She is an avid New England Patriots fan.

Jack Rogers

Jack has been with the Firm full-time since 2016. He recently just obtained his Paralegal Certificate from Boston University. Jack currently handles all residential Seller closings for Attorney Mark Scheier and Attorney Carlos Melon from P&S to close. He works closely with our clients to make sure their closings go seamlessly.  Jack has lived in Acton for 25 plus years and is currently the Assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Acton-Boxborough High School during the spring season. He is a team player who is willing to go the extra mile to make sure our clients are truly satisfied with their closings.

Barbara Logan

Barbara Logan joined the firm in May of 2018 and has over twenty-five (25) years experience as a real estate paralegal in commercial transactions, specializing in preparation of closing documents, settlement statements, and attendance to post closing matters.  In her free time, Barbara enjoys time with her family, painting and gardening.

Karen Goldovitz

Karen Goldovitz started her real state career with us back in 1992. She left in 1999 to pursue other avenues and to spend more time with her small children. She rejoined the firm in 2019 after a twenty-year absence. Karen has nearly thirty years’ experience in residential real estate, as well as estate planning, estate administration, personal injury, litigation and corporate law experience. She assists in all aspects of residential real estate including ordering legal documents, scheduling closings with the lender, real estate brokers, buyers and sellers, preparation of the closing disclosure, closing packages and title insurance policies. Karen has recently begun to assist Attorney Epstein with estate administration. Karen is a newlywed with two grown children of her own and lives in North Grafton with her husband, three stepchildren and two ragdoll kittens. She enjoys spending time with her new family and baking with her stepdaughter. She is an avid Bon Jovi and New England Patriots fan.

Judy Jalbert

Judy joined the firm in 1990 as our office administrator and bookkeeper.  Her responsibilities include client billing, three-way bank reconciliation, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and staff support. Judy married her high school sweetheart and has two children and three grandsons.  She enjoys reading, attending her grandson’s sports activities and spending time with family and friends.

Tara Johnson

Tara joined the firm in 2016 as a receptionist and an administrative assistant. She supports and assists our team with a variety of different tasks and projects. She manages the telephone and front desk reception, where she greets and assists clients professionally and with a smile. Tara lives in Boxborough with her two boys and when not working enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Dan Walton

Daniel has been with the firm since Summer 2019. He’s completed two years of college and is interested in going into the Real Estate field. Dan opens all Purchases and Refinances, inputs exceptions, as well as any odd job around the office. Dan has lived in Acton his whole life and graduated from Acton Boxborough Regional High School. In his free time he enjoys working on his Jeep Wrangler, playing Basketball and maintaining his fish tanks.
